Naomi Okubo
Iโm based in Tokyo, Japan. My primary medium is acrylic. Sometimes do installation and sculpture. You can visit my site at nyaooon.jimdofree.com.
I was born and raised in Tokyo, Japan. I had lived in Brooklyn, NY from 2017 to 2021. The experience of living in NY expanded my view of the world because of its beautiful diversity, frictions, and contradictions. My primal interest is how people develop their own identity, and how our identity is affected by the image and information of mass media. Iโm working with my personal experiences and it has become more meaningful for me as an individual living in the post-Covid pandemic era.

This is the second Cloudberries puzzle I have completed. I’ve started this puzzle around 6 times, each time I had to put it away. It was more difficult than most of the puzzles I’ve ever done. I could not get it out of my head. I have finally finished this puzzle and I love it. The graphics are so amazing and I just love looking at it. I’m definitely gonna purchase a new puzzle!

This puzzle is beautiful, addictive and was SO fun.
Pros: cheap way of keeping me and some pals occupied for 12hours straight. It looks fab and I was so proud when we were done.
Cons: some of the pieces seemed to work together well but it was a LIE. Some of it didnโt quite perfectly match up to the photo on the box which was confusing and tricky
Conclusion: Iโm pacing myself, because I did literally work on this straight for a day but I will 100% be purchasing another few of these
