CLEAN LINES AND BOLD COLOURS
This fun Cloudberries puzzle was illustrated by Edinburgh-based Yannick Scott, who also designed our beautiful WHALE jigsaw. Yannick’s artwork combines the clear, realistic linework and simple composition of the breakfast items, with a vibrant graded colour background. The subtle top-to-bottom gradient of the background and distinct images of the food makes this a relatively easy 500-piece puzzle, ideal for newbies to get their teeth into.

Yannick Scott
I am currently based in Edinburgh, having moved here from London 5 years ago. I work as an Architectural Assistant but for the past year or so, I have been working part-time which has given me the freedom to develop and pursue different creative interests in digital art and illustration. My approach to drawing is derived from my architectural background; combining clear and realistic line work with vibrant colours and simple compositions. In my work, I explore themes of the everyday; taking joy in the ordinary and familiar. If I’m not drawing, you’ll probably find me running or zooming about on my bike to find a good coffee shop to read in – or lately devouring audiobooks as I explore every inch of this city.

I have so many positive things to say about this puzzle and company, but I’ll try to keep it brief. This puzzle’s design is fun, the feel of the pieces is unique, and the gradient is not intimidating! The box and poster had gotten beaten up in the mail (the other puzzles in my order were pristine), which was saddening because I love the sleek look of these products. However, Marianne was extremely quick to respond to my request for replacements. There is clearly a lot of love that goes into this company, which makes me that much more excited to buy from them in the future!
