About the artist
Amalia Sanchez de la Blanca
I’m based in Brighton. I specialise in highly detailed portraits of iconic buildings. I work on CAD using the same software I used when I was an architect years ago. You can visit my site at linescapes.co.uk.
As a former architect obviously I’m fascinated by architecture. I discovered my love of buildings while living in Los Angeles. The Modernist Case Study Houses I saw there made me realise I wanted to become an architect so I moved to the UK to study and qualified in 2005. I worked in offices for 17 years until I realised that I was more an artist doing an architect’s job so I left the industry to become an architectural illustrator and founded Linescapes in 2014. Since then I have created over 60 illustrations of iconic buildings as well as working on many bespoke commission projects for all kinds of cultural sector enterprises such as Chatsworth House and Canterbury Cathedral among others.

I nearly completed my beautiful London Puzzle. Unfortunately one piece was missing. Bad surprise 😭. So I wrote to cloudberries in the middle of friday night and cried for help. The issue was solved immediately. Today ist sunday, and my replacement ist already under way.What an amazing service , they literally work day and night for their customers.Thank you very much

The usual good quality from Cloudberries. A fairly consistent level of difficulty across the entire puzzle, not as taxing as some but also not too easy. The symmetry makes doing the background more interesting. Nice design when completed and would make a great gift.

Another great Cloudberries puzzle. This one turned out to be a bit more straightforward than I was expecting from the box image, and was really fun to do. I referred to the full size poster in the box a couple of times, but it was a bit unwieldy so mostly stuck to the box.
I really liked the image, and after more than 400 days since I was last in central London it was nice to see some familiar sights (still not missing the commute though!) It would have been nice to have the landmarks named (maybe on the poster rather than on the puzzle itself) as it took me a while to work out that the bottom right is the Queens House at Greenwich, the others are more familiar to me.
