Wave goodbye to dull puzzles with this colourful 1000-piece jigsaw, which blends rainbow hues in a calming, curvy design that’s just… swell! One of our famous gradient jigsaws for adults, this 1970s-inspired jigsaw is a psychedelic riot of colours that gradually ‘wipeout’ into a soothing palette of pastel shades. With its gentle curves and bright colours, this wave-themed jigsaw will make you ‘sea’ puzzles in a new light.
Slick, 70s-inspired gradient puzzle with oodles of retro goodness
Gorgeous 1000-piece puzzle designed especially for adults
Comes in an elegant grey box with classic Cloudberries branding
Made in Europe using FSC-certified paper and cardboard
Lose yourself in the hypnotic patterns and colours of this creative new rainbow puzzle from Cloudberries. Our WAVES puzzle can look tricky at first sight, but it’s actually one of the easiest of our 1000-piece gradient puzzles. So if you’re a newbie puzzler and fancy something simple to start off with, this is the puzzle for you. True jigsaw buffs will still find it plenty satisfying, too, with plenty of fun colour sections to dive into!
CATCH THE WAVES!
It’s psychedelic, man! With bold colours and retro 1970s-style art, WAVES was designed by US artist Rachel Breeden of Circa 78 Designs.
Breeden freely admits that her designs are influenced by the likes of Sesame Street and other 1970s’ children’s TV programmes – so if the Cookie Monster is your spirit animal, you’ll love the primary shades and fun vibe of this colourful puzzle. The finished WAVES jigsaw looks so swell that we reckon you’ll want to keep it as a work of art.
DESIGNED FOR PUZZLE NERDS AND BEGINNERS ALIKE
Our puzzle nerds work tirelessly to ensure Cloudberries designs are challenging enough to satisfy experienced puzzle boffins, but with enough clues for newbies to be able to get stuck in. Taking on our WAVES puzzle may feel like jumping into the unknown, but the clever grading of the colours and patterns will always give you a hint as to which piece goes where.
TOP QUALITY BOX AND PUZZLE PIECES
As well as choosing the most interesting designs, our puzzle dweebs also make sure that our puzzles are of the best-possible quality. All our jigsaws are made right here in Europe from extra-thick cardboard and each piece fits perfectly together with its neighbour – so you’ll know instantly if it’s in the correct place. We give all our jigsaws a textured linen finish too, so there’s no glare while you puzzle.
And it’s not just the puzzles themselves that use brilliant designs – they all come packaged in an elegant grey box with classic Cloudberries branding. They look great and make an ideal gift for friends and family – or for yourself, if you fancy it!
EASY ON THE ENVIRONMENT
When you choose a Cloudberries jigsaw, you can rest assured that your puzzling won’t damage the environment. Caring for the planet is one of our key values here at Cloudberries, and we will always go the extra mile towards improving the sustainability of our products.
All our jigsaws and their boxes use only recycled FSC-certified paper and board, so you can be sure that they come from sustainably-managed woods. And for every jigsaw you buy, we promise to plant a tree – so buying your puzzle from us will help re-forest some of the world’s most endangered habitats.

About the artist
Rachel Breeden
I am based in Lansdowne, PA (just outside of Philadelphia). I specialize in retro-inspired art and illustrations. You can visit my website at Circa78designs.com. As a child of the late 70s/early 80s I was raised on a steady TV diet of Children’s Television Workshop programming that sparked my life-long obsession with bold graphics, bright colors, and supergraphic stripes. I live in Lansdowne, PA, a town just outside of Philadelphia with my partner Russell and the head of the household: our chihuahua, Cooper.
I’m a self-taught artist and a bit of a late bloomer art career-wise; I didn’t begin working in design until my mid-30s when I learned Adobe Illustrator and everything finally just clicked. My current obsession is making my work move — most of my free time is now spent watching After Effects tutorials and absorbing everything I can about motion design.
This was my first gradient puzzle; I liked it so much I have a couple more now! For a more challenging gradient build the second time, I like to divide the pieces into ten piles of randomly selected pieces, then try to fit as many as I can from each pile before going on to the next one (as seen on Karen Puzzles). Very satisfying 🙂

The usual good quality from Cloudberries. Easy to do but still satisfying being able to consistently place pieces. Also looks nicer in person than the pictures of the box.

I’ve done quite a few Cloudberries jigsaws and this is my favourite so far. I love sorting out the colours. And it all fits together so beautifully. Nearly half way through now.
